They have also tried to assassinate Venezuela's progressive leader President Hugo Chavez. All this in an undisguised futile effort a effecting so called "regime change" within these countries to enslave them under the boot of dollar capitalism.
Now, with the utterly complete failure of the US imperialist Bush clique or war-obsessed warmongers at stifling the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and its Dear Leader Comrade Generalissimo Kim Jong Il who holds aloft the sacred banner of Songun politics around which the Korean people rally single-mindedly in a great revolutionary upsurge in defense of Korean-style socialism with sanctions, natural disasters, and threaths of pre-emptive nuclear war, they fall in their habitual pattern of trying to assassinate the Dear Leader, we have learned from south Korean puppet mouthpiece Yonhap News :

S. Korean woman killed in traffic accident involving U.S. GI
SEOUL, June 10 (Yonhap) -- A South Korean woman was killed Friday after being struck by a U.S. military truck in Dongducheon, just north of Seoul, police said.
The accident took place around 1:45 p.m. when the victim, identified as a 51-year-old yogurt delivery worker surnamed Kim, was pulling her cart on a street in Dongducheon, police officers said.

Maybe it was a coincidence? Like you said, there are loads of people called Kim, just because one was killed in an accident doesn't mean they're trying to assassinate Kim Jung Il
