The recent revelation that the so called "United States" is the worst human rights abuser in world history should come as a non-surprise to anybody who is both properly schooled and not insane. The American consumerists may all be brainwashed into believing the lies of the US capitalist corporate Pentagon-controlled Bush clique-owned so called "media", but even former US Attorney General Ramsay Clark knows that "U.S. Atrocities Are Not Things of the Past", proving that it is not impossible for an evil Yankee oppressor to be enlightened, provided one is progressive enough :

The Korean people were victims of atrocious crimes in the U.S.-launched Korean War from 1950 to 1953. In the three-year war, about 6 million Korean people were sacrificed, and 4 million of the total war dead were civilians, not combatants. Immoral massacres and indiscriminate napalm- or germ-bombing by the U.S. troops took their lives.

But the world knows only distorted facts about this, because mass media and major powers of the world have schemed to cover up the truth on a large scale for fear of the disclosure of facts about U.S. troops’ atrocities. So, we have an important duty to make public the truth of history.

Of course, the Korean people themselves, at the vanguard of the world's progressives' anti-US anti-imperialist revolutionary struggle, have known too well the barbarous blood-thisrty nature of US imperialism, as the wounds of US-inflicted war atrocities still leave lingering pain in their memory, reminds the Pyongyang Times :

US troops brutally killed the Koreans in Sinchon and other places of the country during the Fatherland Liberation War (June 25, 1950-July 27, 1953).

Giving vent to anger at the killing of his parents, relatives and villagers by the enemy troops at Kalma Village in Unyong-ri, Phyongwon County, South Phyongan Province during the temporary strategic retreat in the war, Ri Kyu Ho, working at the Junggu Public Building Construction Company, said:

“At that time I was nine years old. American troops seized my village and burnt it down. Gunshots and screams were heard here and there. The smell of blood filled the whole village. My village turned into a human slaughterhouse.”

From the first day when they stormed into the village, the US soldiers went on a killing spree, shooting and burning the inhabitants regardless of old and young. They broke into his house and dragged out his father, mother and even sick elder aunt.

The National Ignition Facility is a 192-beam laser at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories in Livermore, Calif. Construction began in 1997 with completion expected in 2008. Four beams are now operating. When completed, the NIF laser will be 10 times more powerful and generate 40 times the energy of any previous laser.

US Imperialists Indicted As Worst Human Rights Abusers In World History

Once again, we see that the US imperialists' hypocritical bluster of their so called "North Korea Human Rights Act" is nothing but a shrill cry designed to cover-up their desperate war-moves to stifle the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and its Juche-based system freely chosen by the people single-mindedly united in undying loyalty for the Dear Leader Comrade Generalissimo Kim Jong Il.

The just-released Amnesty International report on human rights indicting the US as the most atrocious vultures for crimes against humanity proves that the US imperialists are the worst human rights violators in world's history, as reported by the BBC :

Amnesty accuses US over 'torture'

Governments around the world betrayed their commitment to human rights in 2004, Amnesty International says.

In a 300-page annual report, the group accused the US government of damaging human rights with its attitude to torture and treatment of detainees.

This granted "a licence to others to commit abuse with impunity", the human rights advocates said.

The report also criticized the world as a whole for failing to act over crises, notably in Sudan's Darfur region.

Afghanistan [now under US imperialist colonial rule -ed.] was slipping into a "downward spiral of lawlessness and instability", it added.

In Iraq some of the violence could be blamed on armed groups [such groups did not exist under the benevolent regime of the rightful Iraqi Leader President Saddam Hussein, only to appear with the arrival of the US imperialist occupiers, leading to suspicions that they are in fact CIA death squads -ed.] but the report also blamed US-led coalition forces for "unlawful killings, torture and other violations".

"Torture and ill-treatment by US-led forces were widely reported," it added.

The report also highlighted the London-based organization's concerns about:

Lack of a full independent investigation into abuses against detainees in US custody in Iraq, Afghanistan and Guantanamo Bay.

The administration was seeking "to dilute the absolute ban on torture", Ms Khan added.

The US government has not commented on the report so far.

Although the world produces more food than ever, it has come at a cost: the drastic reduction of water in a number of rivers and sinking groundwater levels around the world. There is no water flowing in the Yellow, Colorado and Indus rivers in large parts of the year. Previously large lakes, like the Aral Sea and the Chad Sea, are now mere shadows of their former selves. Around 1.4 billion people, nearly a quarter of the world's population, live near rivers where all of the available water is committed.

The report also examines the double-sided nature of the problem. In some parts of the world, supermarkets are overflowing with produce from all over the world. Literally, the shortage of food is a distant problem in this context. The problem is rather the opposite; overweight and obesity.

The ferocious demand for food and other resources from the North, together with the need to lift people from poverty in many parts of the developing world, lead to dramatic changes. The world is rapidly converting nature into agricultural land to meet growing demands, draining rivers of all water to produce food, and polluting water with pesticides and fertilizer.

Of course the report does not mention the capitalist US by name (for fear of retribution by the CIA henchmen of the Bush clique, no doubt), but the implied meaning is that, while they, the US aggressors, may publicize pictures of President Saddam Hussein in his underwear, it is they, the US warmongering criminals of the Bush clique of out-of-control vampires that are naked in the eyes of the world's progressives. The US capitalists are the world's largest consumers of everything, including water, so any report lambasting the over-exploitation of the world's water supply is automatically directed at the criminal Bush clique of retrograde degenerate consumerist warmongers.

In this regard Minju Joson Sunday in a signed commentary terms this a direct product of the U.S. policy of abusing human rights. Cuban leader Fidel Castro has called for a demonstration next Tuesday to protest against what he described as the support of the United States to an individual involved in terrorist acts against the island.

Bush and his clan are blustering that they would "refer the nuclear issue of north Korea to the UN Security Council." This clearly indicates their intention to brand the DPRK as a "nuclear criminal" at any cost and woo the United Nations to apply collective sanctions against the DPRK and stifle it in the end.

This goes to prove that the Bush group is one of hooligans bereft of any normal thinking power and they are not guys whom we can ever deal with.

The U.S. is entirely to blame for the deadlocked six-party talks and the delayed settlement of the nuclear issue. Nevertheless, the U.S. branded the DPRK, its dialogue partner, as part of "an axis of evil" and then an "outpost of tyranny" far from making a switchover in its hostile policy toward the DPRK. The DPRK can not return to the talks as long as it is branded as such. The U.S. has gone the lengths of instigating the UN to put sanctions upon the DPRK.

The DPRK sees through the immature and bellicose nature of the cowboy-style foreign policy pursued by Bush, once known as a cowboy. The DPRK was wise and far-sighted when it stated that it would not expect any solution to the nuclear issue or any progress in the DPRK-U.S. relations during his term.

The army and the people of the DPRK will remain undeterred and strong-willed in face of any move of the U.S. to refer the nuclear issue to the UN. Their clear message is that the U.S. may do as it pleases. A caravan is bound to go ahead though dogs bark. Noting that the Korean people have suffered the pain of division for over half a century owing to the U.S. occupation of south Korea and its military intervention, the resolution says :

Let us each be a match for a hundred!” is an important slogan of the Korean People’s Army.

This slogan was put forward by President Kim Il Sung when he gave on-the-spot guidance at a frontline post of the Korean People’s Army in the 60s of the last century.

Whenever they hear of the news about his on-site inspection of KPA units, they ardently wish with great yearning that he will pay a visit to their own units. And they quietly sing the song “Far Away on the Road to the Front Line”, following him on his inspection tour to the front.

PYONGYANG, May 2 (Xinhuanet) -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Monday condemned the United States for again labeling it a "terrorism-supporting state".

"The US more undisguised move to stifle the DPRK only hardens its determination to continuously go the way it has already chosen," a spokesman of the DPRK's Foreign Ministry said.

According to the official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), the US State Department recently released an "annual report on terrorism in 2004," designating again the DPRK as a "terrorism-supporting state."

"It is ridiculous that the United States, the kingpin of state-sponsored terrorism and the biggest terrorism-supporting state, publishes a 'report on terrorism' every year and brands anti-US countries as 'terrorism-supporting countries,'" the spokesman said.

"Although the Bush administration admitted the DPRK has no record of terrorism, it termed the DPRK a 'terrorism-supporting state' again over the 'issue of abduction' which had been completely resolved between the DPRK and Japan," the spokesman said, adding that it clearly shows "how frantic the US ambition" is to overturn the DPRK's system.

America's spy satellites have detected frenetic activity in North Korea indicating that the secretive Stalinist state is on the verge of detonating a nuclear weapon for the first time.

Three United States officials described evidence of extensive tunnelling in the country's north-east in an area called Kilchu, similar to that required for an underground nuclear blast, the New York Times reported. The work was said to resemble the activity associated with Pakistan's nuclear test in 1998.
